Customs Clearance Broker – Immingham

One Point Recruitment is looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Broker to join our established client's busy shipping and logistics operation in Immingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position directly with our client, supporting the smooth movement of goods through UK customs.

The Role

• Preparing and submitting import and export customs declarations

• Processing customs clearance documentation

• Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers and freight forwarders

• Ensuring compliance with HMRC customs procedures

• Checking commodity codes and shipment information

• Resolving clearance queries and maintaining accurate records

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week

• Full-time, permanent position

• Based in Immingham

What We're Looking For

• Previous customs clearance or freight forwarding experience

• Knowledge of UK import and export procedures

• Familiarity with Customs Declaration Service (CDS)

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Confident using computer systems

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
